Ukrainian energy group DTEK expects to begin operating a new 19-turbine wind farm this spring as part of a larger project with a full design capacity of 500 MW for the further implementation of which it will be holding talks with international donors and partners. DTEK said on Friday that it is completing the construction of the 114-MW first phase of the Tyligulska wind project in the Mykolaiv region. This phase is expected to achieve its full capacity in the coming weeks, according to Rinat Akhmetov, founder and shareholder of System Capital Management (SCM) Group, which owns DTEK.
