UK green hydrogen energy services company Protium today announced plans for a green hydrogen production facility in Lancashire in partnership with Budweiser Brewing Group. The new facility would be located next to Budweiser’ Samlesbury brewery and provide hydrogen to help meet the brewery’s thermal demand, heating and transport needs. The Samlesbury Net Zero project is expected to save up to 11,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year.
