Multiverse Computing has used a digital twin and quantum optimisation to boost the efficiency of green hydrogen production. The company was reported to have increased production and total revenue of green hydrogen by 5% with the technology, in collaboration with its partners IDEA Ingeniería and AMETIC – Spain’s digital industry association. Developed by IDEA, the quantum digital twin stimulates a green hydrogen production plant by using operating parameters of the plant as inputs.
