Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) on Friday issued a Request for Selection (RfS) with the goal of picking producers to supply a total of 539,000 metric tonnes of green ammonia per year. The RfS was launched under Mode 2A of the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) programme of the National Green Hydrogen Mission. As part of that scheme, the government has already allocated 412,000 metric tonnes of annual green hydrogen production and 1.5 GW of electrolyser manufacturing capacity.
