The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) is accelerating work on its third hydro-floating solar hybrid project, at Srinagarind Dam in Kanchanaburi Province, to generate clean energy and support the goal of Carbon Neutrality. Bidding documents are now available for purchase, until July 3, and bids will be opened on Aug. 14. With a capacity of 140 MW, the project will generate electric power from solar energy combined with hydropower from the existing dam to ensure stability and reduce fluctuations of renewable energy, resulting in a continuation and efficiency of power generation
