A positive electrode active material, comprising: a core, wherein the core comprises a lithium-containing nickel-based transition metal oxide, and in the lithium-containing nickel-based transition metal oxide, a molar proportion of nickel element among all elements excluding lithium element and oxygen element ranges from 50% to 100%; a first coating layer, applied on at least a portion of an outer surface of the core, wherein the first coating layer comprises cerium element; and a second coating layer applied on at least a portion of an outer surface of the first coating layer, the second coating layer comprising aluminum element and boron element. |
