Clean chemistry company Mattiq has announced a portfolio of novel, highly durable alternatives to irdium, a critical component in clean hydrogen production. With iridium being a rare and costly element of proton exchange membrane(PEM) water electrolysers, Mattiq is identifying new alternatives that could meet or exceed performances, with a much lower cost and greater availability.
