BMW Group Mexico, with the aim of continuing to promote electric mobility in Mexico, has consolidated a new strategic alliance with VEMO, which joins other strategic allies in order to amplify the charging structure on public roads for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in the country. The action is part of an investment of €724,000, or $15 million pesos, made by BMW Group in Latin America to expand the offer of chargers on public roads in the region. This investment will be reflected in 251 new chargers on public roads distributed in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama and Peru.
