The European Commission has officially launched today the Biomethane Mechanism, a key initiative under the EU Energy and Raw Materials Platform. Designed to accelerate the growth of Europe’s biomethane market, the mechanism is a voluntary, free of charge and innovative tool. The mechanism aims to help companies, investors and other stakeholders to find partners, develop biomethane projects and create new business opportunities.
