The Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), through the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE), has awarded 20 million euros to 11 projects aimed at replacing fossil fuels with renewable sources in cogeneration plants. The funding comes from the NextGenerationEU funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP), within the second call of the RENOCOGEN 2 programme.
