Saipem and Subsea7 confirmed that the antitrust waiting period in the United States has expired, following the expiration of all waiting periods under the U.S. Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 (HSR Act). As a result, the companies are now cleared to close the transaction in the U.S., although the completion of the combination remains subject to certain regulatory approvals outside the U.S.
