Colombia has approved the CONPES document on National Hydrogen Policy, an initiative that establishes an intersectoral roadmap to promote the development of this strategic sector through 2031 as a cornerstone of the country's energy transition, reindustrialization, and decarbonization. As part of this strategy, the government also defined the first national threshold for recognizing low-emission hydrogen, with the aim of strengthening investor confidence and preparing the country for international markets.
