The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has awarded €274.2 million to promote four new renewable hydrogen production projects in Castilla-La Mancha, Galicia, and Aragón , within the framework of the second call for proposals under the national Auction-as-a-Service (AaaS) mechanism . The selected initiatives have a combined electrolysis capacity of 102.27 MW and are aimed at replacing fossil fuels with renewable hydrogen in industrial processes.
