2. 인증개요

유해물질 사용제한 지침은 전기전자기기(electrical and electronic equipment) 중 정격이 AC 1,000V, DC 1,500V를 넘지 않는 기기의 10대 제한 유해물질을 포함하지 않도록 함. 군사용, 우주 발사용, 대형 고정 설비 등 일부 제품군에 대해서는 적용되지 않음. 유럽연합 내 국가에서는 수리, 재사용 및 예비 부품 등에 대해서도 부속서 II에 있는 10대 유해 물질이 사용되는지 확인이 되어야 함.

4. 인증절차

1) 지침의 Article 4의 요구사항에 맞게 설계 및 제조 되었는지 확인

2) 지침의 Annex II의 10종 물질 포함 여부 확인

3) 제조자 기술문서 작성 및 Module A 수행

4) 제조자 EU DoC 작성 및 CE 마크 부착

[제외 대상]

- 군사적 목적으로 제작된 무기, 군수품 및 전쟁 재료를 포함한 회원국 안보의 필수적 이익 보호를 위해 필요한 기기(equipment which is necessary for the protection of the essential interests of the security of Member States, including arms, munitions and war material intended for specifically military purposes);

- 우주로 보내도록 설계된 기기(equipment designed to be sent into space);

- 본 지침의 적용범위에 속하지 않거나 제외된 다른 유형의 장비의 일부로 특별히 설계되고 설치되어야 하는 기기로서, 해당 장비의 일부인 경우에만 기능을 수행할 수 있으며, 동일한 특수 설계 장비에 의해서 대체될 수 있는 기기(equipment which is specifically designed, and is to be installed, as part of another type of equipment that is excluded or does not fall within the scope of this Directive, which can fulfil its function only if it is part of that equipment, and which can be replaced only by the same specifically designed equipment);

- 대규모 고정 산업 툴(large-scale stationary industrial tools);

- 대규모 고정 설비(large-scale fixed installations);

- 형식승인 받지 않은 전기 이륜 차량을 제외한 개인 또는 상품을 위한 운송 수단(means of transport for persons or goods, excluding electric two-wheel vehicles which are not type-approved);

- 전문적인 용도로만 사용할 수 있는 비도로 이동 기계(non-road mobile machinery made available exclusively for professional use);

- 능동 이식형 의료 기기(active implantable medical devices);

- 공공, 상업, 산업 및 주거용으로 제작된 태양광으로부터 에너지를 생산하기 위해 정의된 장소에서 영구적으로 사용하기 위해 전문가가 설계, 조립 및 설치하는 시스템에 사용되도록 하는 태양광 패널(photovoltaic panels intended to be used in a system that is designed, assembled and installed by professionals for permanent use at a defined location to produce energy from solar light for public, commercial, industrial and residential applications);

- 기업간 전자상거래로만 사용할 수 있는 연구개발 목적으로만 특별히 설계된 기기(equipment specifically designed solely for the purposes of research and development only made available on a business-to-business basis);
